Crown and Cane - 4.8% Bitter, Collaboration with The Dandelion. We had some of the gang from @TheDandelionPub over to brew a classic British-style Bitter. We mashed in some Golden Promise, Crystal, and Amber malts; hopped it with Bramling Cross and Challenger; and fermented it with our favourite top cropping British yeast. It pours a brilliant autumn honey color; and has those moreish notes of perfectly steeped blackberry leaf tea, clean wet oak, mild toffee, an Atlantic coastal minerality, an appropriate bitterness, and maybe a pecan pie in the oven.
